Social Media Engagement Engine: Don’t Shut Us Out of Society
Updated: Jul 13
Social Media Engagement Engine
Use this tool to create sharp, accessible, participant-led campaign content for the NDIS reform campaign. It is designed for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X-style posts, with captions, comment prompts, story polls, hashtags and alt text.
Core campaign line: NDIS Reform should follow the waste, not punish the people trying to survive it.
How to use this engine
Pick a platform, goal, content pillar and tone. Add a lived-experience or local detail if you have one. Generate a caption, first comment, story poll, alt text and engagement plan. Use the output with Australian Disability Ltd posts, supporter shares and campaign updates.
Recommended weekly rhythm
Tuesday to Thursday: major advocacy tiles. Sunday: participant evidence recap. Weekdays at lunchtime: news-response posts. Evening: community conversation and testimony prompts. Do not chase reels until static post engagement softens.
Campaign guardrails
Keep the campaign participant-led, accessible and evidence-based. Do not pressure people to disclose trauma. Do not use fake urgency. Do not present private stories without consent. Always include alt text and plain-language captions.
Reform the system. Not disabled people.

Reader action
Best next action: turn one sourced claim into one accessible post, then send supporters to the MP and Senator email tool instead of asking them only to react.
